Position Overview:

As we embark on our second year as Presence & Co., we are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us as a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing team of 25 skilled technicians, including electricians, joiners, painters & decorators, landscapers, general technicians, and subcontractors from various trades. Your leadership will play a crucial role in setting the benchmark for excellence and supporting our ambitious growth targets for 2025 and beyond.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and inspire a diverse team of tradespeople, ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services.
  • Engage with potential clients, articulating project details confidently and professionally.
  • Provide regular progress and performance reports to your line manager.
  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Health and Safety teams to ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Foster the professional development of junior team members, guiding them toward excellence.
  • An element of the position will be to lead by example and be on the tools as well as supporting the office

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of building works and maintenance operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing tradesmen to foster a cohesive and efficient work environment.
  • Skilled in preparing cost estimates and quotes.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Proficiency in IT and computer applications.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a passion for excellence in service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
