The property industry – especially construction and maintenance – has long been viewed as a male-dominated space. But at Presence & Co., we’re proving that times are changing. With an in-house team of 35 trades and a growing workforce, we’re proud to champion the talented women making an impact across all areas of the business.
From property management to finance, administration to sales, women are at the forefront of our company’s success. As we continue to grow, we are committed to fostering an environment where women feel empowered to thrive in every role.
Leading the Way
At Presence & Co., many of our key departments are led by inspiring women. Emilie Wilson heads up our Administration Department, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Louise Stratford plays a crucial role as Bock Manager. Hannah Ryszynska drives business growth as Head of Business Development, while Lily Spencer leads our marketing efforts, and Sophie Meyer oversees Sales & Lettings.
Beyond leadership, our wider team is just as dynamic. Clairabelle & Gabby ensures seamless administrative support. Hannah Uddin plays an incredible role ensuring our tenants are well looked after at the Estate Agency, and Nicola keeps our finances in order. Meanwhile, Morgan Toole works closely with our trades team, coordinating projects and ensuring everything runs efficiently.
Every woman in our business plays a vital part in making Presence & Co. the company it is today.
Inspiring the Next Generation
On Friday, 7th March, our Head of Marketing, Lily Spencer, returned to her former school, Kent College Pembury, to speak to students about career opportunities in the property industry. But this wasn’t just about estate agency roles – Lily highlighted the many pathways available, from apprenticeships to careers in property maintenance and construction.
“When I was in school, the idea of working in maintenance or construction was never presented as an option,” Lily shared. “Now, having worked closely with our on-site teams, I can see what an incredible and rewarding career it can be.”
Her visit aimed to challenge outdated perceptions and encourage young women to explore opportunities they may not have previously considered.
Shaping the Future of Property
Encouraging more women into the property sector is about more than just increasing representation – it’s about driving innovation, bringing fresh perspectives, and fostering an inclusive and forward-thinking industry. At Presence & Co., we are committed to supporting women at every stage of their careers, ensuring they have the tools, opportunities, and confidence to succeed.
We are incredibly proud of the women who are shaping our business and the industry at large. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to opening doors, challenging norms, and proving that property is a place where everyone can thrive.
