Key Responsibilities
Requirements:
– Applying paint and varnishes to a variety of surfaces
– Applying primers and undercoats
– Using brushes, rollers and spraying equipment where required
– Wallpapering
– Ensure all surfaces are ready for decorating
– Tidy work areas and ensure tools are kept clean
– Preparing the surrounding areas ready for work
– Advising on equipment and resources necessary to complete the job
– Working to a high stander, and an efficient worker
– Required to support other trades in the team when needed, including General Technician
The candidate would need to have:
– Good communication skills
– Be thorough and have good attention to detail
– Have some knowledge or public safety and security
– Basic computer skills
– The ability to work independently and in a team
– Good time management skills
– A clean driving license
– Willing to travel and work away from home as required
