Amanda Glover began her career in the health and safety field eight years ago as a Junior Health & Safety Assistant, where she was responsible for conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations. Since then, she has steadily progressed through the ranks – driven by a passion for continuous improvement and creating safer, more compliant working environments.
Now as Head of Health, Safety & Environmental at Presence & Co., Amanda oversees health and safety operations across multiple sites, manages a growing team, and works closely with clients to ensure best practice is followed at every level. She plays a pivotal role in shaping and embedding a strong culture of safety across the business, with a focus on proactive risk management and operational excellence.
Before stepping into the health and safety world, Amanda worked in sales as a Senior Sales Support Administrator, where she honed her organisational skills and ability to manage high-pressure workloads – qualities that continue to serve her well today.
Amanda holds an impressive suite of qualifications, including the NEBOSH National General Certificate, NEBOSH Certificate in Controlling Workplace Hazards, and the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety – making her well-equipped to lead with both knowledge and confidence.
