Georgina Desiato began her journey into health and safety just over a year ago, stepping into the role of Health & Safety Assistant with a keen interest in workplace wellbeing and compliance. Since then, she has been steadily progressing – supporting safety initiatives, implementing protocols, and promoting a strong culture of safety across the business, while continuing to grow her knowledge and skillset in the field.
Before moving into the world of health and safety, Georgina worked with the Environment Agency as a Permit Support Officer, contributing to environmental protection by managing permit applications and supporting regulatory compliance. This role equipped her with a strong foundation in administrative and technical processes, and a sharp eye for detail.
She also holds certifications in Libraries and Archiving, showcasing her expertise in managing and preserving information resources, and an NVQ Level 3 in Animal Management, reflecting her broad and diverse professional background.
Georgina brings a unique mix of experience, dedication, and curiosity to her role – making her a valuable part of the Presence & Co. health and safety team.
