Project Overview

Markerstudy Group sought to redesign and modernise their existing office space to accommodate additional desk positions, improve natural light distribution, and create a multi-functional workspace for various departments. The goal was to enhance collaboration, comfort, and efficiency while incorporating quiet working zones and dedicated MS Teams rooms for virtual meetings.

Plan & Design

  • Consultative Approach – We worked closely with the client to understand their objectives and space requirements.
  • Space Planning – Using our expert space planning team, we redesigned the layout to maximise natural light, increase workstations, and enhance functionality.

Demolition & Strip-Out Phase

To achieve the desired redesign, the following works were carried out:

  • Removal of existing stud offices to open up the space.
  • Strip-out of kitchen units, carpet, and LVT flooring for a full refresh.
  • Ceiling grid and lighting removal, making way for modern LED lighting solutions.

Build & Installation Phase

  • Kitchen Area – Installed new kitchen units to create a modern break space for employees.
  • New Offices & Meeting Rooms – Constructed dedicated spaces to support focused work and collaboration.
  • Flooring Installation – Laid new carpet and LVT flooring to enhance aesthetics and durability.
  • Office Furniture & Soundproof Pods – Supplied and installed ergonomic office furniture and quiet work zones.
  • Redecoration – Complete interior refresh, including walls, trims, and all metalwork.
  • Lighting Upgrade – Installed new hanging LED lighting for better energy efficiency and a brighter workspace.
  • Air Conditioning Adaptation – Adjusted the existing HVAC system to suit the new office layout.
